School Bus Passes

Complete your application online here: School Transport Assistance Form

Online applications are the quickest and most convenient way to apply. Alternatively, you can download a paper application form online. If you need any help with the application process, please contact us.

Thompson Bus Services will process your application within 48 hours of receiving your completed form. However, please be aware that at the start of the school year, there may be a delay of up to 5 business days due to the high volume of applications we receive during this time.

Once your details are confirmed, a bus pass will be issued to the bus driver of the service you’ll be using. Students can collect their bus pass from the driver the next time they board. You are also welcome to pick up your bus pass from our depot at 267 Youngs Crossing Road, Joyner but please let us know if you would like to do this. A valid bus pass is required for each trip on the school bus. The pass only covers travel to and from school.

If you do not have a bus pass, you will need to use a GoCard to tap on and off.

If your child’s bus pass is lost or damaged, you can request a replacement by emailing info@thompsonbusservices.com.au. The fee for a replacement pass is $20.00.

Reapply for a bus pass when:

  • Your student is changing from Primary to High School
  • You change your home address
  • You change schools
  • You are changing campus e.g. North Lakes Junior Campus (Prep-Year 9) to Senior Campus (Year 10-12)
  • You are enrolled at the same school that has Prep to Year 12, but your student is changing from Year 6 to Year 7
